Adding final touches to the artwork.
Wiradjuri Walk
I was fortunate to collaborate on this project alongside artist Bohie Palacek and the talented artists from the Murrumbidgee Arts Kinship Enterprise (MAKE). The MAKE group's striking Goanna design takes centre stage, symbolising strength, resilience, kinship and the totem of the Wiradjuri people. Their artwork is thoughtfully scattered throughout the park, enhancing the narrative of cultural identity and community unity.
Supported by the NSW Government's Streets as Shared Spaces Program and Murrumbidgee Council, this project reflects the collaborative spirit of the Darlington Point community and history.
